Introducing a slow, candlelit yoga class in a serene studio space in Thame on Sunday evenings.

This weekly 75 minute class will take place in the gorgeous Mandala room at the Wellum Clinic. The space is accessible from the High Street, but set back, feeling quiet and peaceful. There is a comfortable capacity for 5 people. Mats, bolsters and blankets will be provided.

Yin yoga is a little different to regular yoga classes in that we move very, very slowly. We hold each posture for 4-5 minutes, allowing the body the time and space to relax and release areas of tension and holding. The time of stillness in each pose, supported by the breath, becomes a sort of meditation.

These sessions are for everyone, from those with chronic pain or health issues, to those wanting to establish a personal practice, to those simply seeking relief from the stresses and anxieties of life.

The taster class on Sunday 10th of March at 7:00pm is free, and an opportunity to experience yin yoga before joining the regular class.

Places will be limited to 5, so please book in advance here:

I have been sharing the practice of yoga for the past 6 years, and remain in awe and reverence of its potential for healing and transformation. Yoga is more than a physical practice, but a way of living, which offers a pathway to a greater balance of mind, body and spirit. With its adoption in the West, the teachings of yoga have been diluted, and in some cases lost entirely. My hope and intention as a teacher is to transmit something of the original essence of yoga, and to guide you back to your natural state of being. It is in this natural state that your body is able to undertake its necessary processes of self-healing.
